Colorado Governor Hickenlooper is violating his oath of office and was sued for it. And boy is he pissed. Imagine, trying to force a democrat to obey a law. Who has ever heard of such a thing? Two state senators are being recalled. After the petitions are certified, the governor MUST set a date for a special election. Hickenlooper is refusing to so. He would like to delay the elections until after the college students come back in the fall. Unfortunately, that’s not what the law requires.
Hickenlooper could also be waiting till the last minute, to prevent other candidates from being able to run in the recall election. The candidates will need to get petitions signed and raise money in order to effectively compete. Hickenlooper, himself should be recalled. He is a disgrace to his office and has broken his oath of office. Any governor that must be sued to get him to perform his duties, has no place in the governor’s mansion.
