Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday accused the Obama White House of misrepresenting the deal relating to Iran’s controversial nuclear program.

“We did not agree to dismantle anything,” Zarif told CNN in an exclusive interview.

Secretary of State John Kerry bragged on Sunday that the deal would result in Iran trashing some of its enriched uranium stockpiles. He also claimed that Iran agreed to “dismantle some infrastructure that makes higher-level uranium enrichment possible.”

However, Zarif was clear that no dismantling will be occurring.

“The White House version both underplays the concessions and overplays Iranian commitment,” the foreign minister lamented. He also alleged that the U.S. is seemingly not “sticking to what we agreed.”
